The H&N Slug HP Heavy is a lead airgun slug purpose-built for long-range hunting and target shooting with high-power PCP air rifles in .25 calibre (6.35 mm). At 42.0 grains, it sits in the heavier end of H&N's Slug HP range, giving the extra downrange energy and stability needed when pushing high muzzle velocities from a powerful PCP. The defining feature is a large-meplat hollow point design paired with a soft lead alloy: on impact the nose expands rapidly, delivering maximum energy transfer and a clean, humane kill. Each slug is precision-formed to a head diameter of .249 inches to ensure consistent seating in the barrel and tight group sizes across all conditions. The Slug HP Heavy was developed and field-tested in close collaboration with Air Hunter Gerhard, a recognised authority in airgun hunting and competitive airgun shooting. Supplied in a tin of 100.
