The H&N Slug HP Heavy extends the Slug HP range into heavier territory for .25 calibre (6.35mm) high-power PCP air rifles, offering a 44-grain hollow-point lead slug engineered for serious long-range hunting and target shooting. The defining feature is a large-meplat hollow point cavity combined with soft lead construction, which delivers controlled and consistent expansion on impact — maximising energy transfer and ensuring a quick, humane kill on quarry. Developed and refined in close collaboration with Air Hunter Gerhard, a respected authority in airgun hunting and competitive shooting, these slugs are designed to perform at the outer edge of what high-power PCPs can achieve. Each tin contains 100 individually formed slugs with a head diameter of .250 inches. As with all H&N projectiles, tight dimensional consistency from tin to tin is central to the design brief, supporting repeatable accuracy at extended range.
