The FX Grub Screw M2x2 is a genuine factory replacement fastener for FX PCP air rifles. It is a headless set screw (grub screw) with an M2 metric thread and a 2 mm length, supplied by FX Airguns of Sweden. Grub screws of this type are used throughout FX rifle assemblies to lock or locate components without a protruding head — the absence of a head keeps surrounding surfaces unobstructed. At M2 × 2 mm this is one of the smallest fasteners in the FX spares range, and the tiny Allen socket can be vulnerable to rounding if over-torqued or if an ill-fitting key is used. Holding a spare is prudent for any FX owner who carries out their own maintenance or adjustments.
