The FX Impact Pellet Probe in .177 calibre is a genuine OEM replacement loading probe for the FX Impact PCP air rifle. The pellet probe — sometimes called a breech probe or bolt probe — sits inside the bolt assembly and is the component that pushes each pellet into the barrel ahead of the air charge. Over time, or after a strip-and-clean, the probe can wear, distort, or go missing, and fitting the correct calibre-specific replacement is essential for reliable feeding and consistent shot-to-shot accuracy. This probe is machined to suit the .177 barrel and breech geometry of the FX Impact, ensuring the pellet seats squarely and at the right depth every time.
