The H&N Baracuda FT is a domed competition pellet developed specifically for Field Target and Hunter Field Target shooting, where pinpoint accuracy at long range decides the card. This tin holds 400 pellets in .177 calibre with the 4.51mm head size, the fit favoured by shooters whose barrels group tighter on a marginally larger head. Each pellet weighs 9.57 grains (0.62g), and H&N states the design gives its best results in precision air rifles around the 12 ft·lb UK legal limit, with an effective range out to 50 metres. Quality control is strict: pellets are hand sorted to a weight tolerance of +/-0.25%, and every production lot must group five shots inside 12mm centre-to-centre at 50 metres before it leaves the factory. That consistency makes the Baracuda FT a sound choice for club FT and HFT competition, and just as useful for keeping your zero honest on the practice range. Supplied in a robust screw-top tin that protects the skirts in transit and in the field.
