H&N Slug HP .25 Calibre 32gr Hollow Point Air Slugs Tin 120
S108133
- Bullet-shaped hollow-point lead slug for high-power PCP air rifles — not a diabolo pellet
- Calibre .25 (6.35 mm), head diameter .249 inch (6.34 mm), weight 32 grain
- Tin of 120 — sealed H&N screw-top tin with foam pads for safe transport
- Favourable BC for flat trajectory and excellent energy retention past 50 metres
- Special lubricant coating reduces barrel friction for consistent feeding
- Recommended muzzle energy 40–60 J; minimum 25 J; best results with slug-optimised twist rates
- Suited to medium game and bird game — fox, hare, pheasant, duck
The H&N Slug HP is a bullet-shaped lead projectile designed for high-power PCP air rifles, setting a new benchmark for long-range airgun accuracy well beyond 50 metres. Unlike conventional diabolo pellets, these hollow-point slugs carry an exceptionally favourable ballistic coefficient that produces a flatter trajectory and superior energy retention downrange — making them a serious choice for hunting out to 100 metres and beyond. The .249-inch head diameter suits .25 calibre (6.35 mm) barrels, and the 32-grain weight strikes a balance between velocity and downrange punch for medium quarry including fox, hare, rabbit, pheasant and duck. Each slug is coated with a special lubricant to reduce barrel friction, then visually inspected, hand packed and cushioned with foam pads in H&N's screw-top tin. A minimum muzzle energy of 25 joules is required; 40–60 joules is recommended for consistent performance. Barrels with a shorter twist rate engineered specifically for slugs will deliver the best results.
