The JSB KnockOut Slugs in .30 calibre (7.62mm) are purpose-built airgun ammunition for hunters and long-range shooters running higher-powered, FAC-rated PCP air rifles. Weighing 50.15 grains and formed from soft lead, each slug features a hollow point head and hollow base that promote controlled expansion on impact, maximising terminal effect at the point of strike. The published ballistic coefficient of 0.090 delivers a notably flat trajectory compared with conventional dome-head pellets, helping the slug retain velocity and energy further down range. JSB manufacture these slugs to tight dimensional tolerances at their Czech facility, giving consistent performance from shot to shot out of the tin. The pack contains 150 slugs, providing ample supply for zeroing, range sessions and hunting outings. In the UK these are an FAC (Firearms Certificate) product — only legal for use in air rifles producing more than 12 ft-lb muzzle energy.
