The Umarex Colt Defender is a CO2-powered BB pistol built under official licence from Colt, replicating the compact 1911-style Defender with a full metal frame and slide for authentic weight and handling. It's powered by a single 12g CO2 capsule, housed in the frame and quick to swap, cycling a 16-round tube magazine loaded with 4.5mm (.177) steel BBs. Muzzle velocity is 427 fps (130 m/s) at under 3.0 Joules, and one capsule is good for around 165 shots, though this will vary with temperature, CO2 quality and rate of fire. A Weaver rail beneath the muzzle lets you fit lights, lasers or other accessories, and the double-action-only trigger is backed by a manual sliding safety.
