This is the Beretta Competition EVO Frame on its own, with no lens fitted — the wraparound frame from Beretta's competition eyewear range built for clay and target shooters who want a fast, unobstructed field of view. Constructed from ultra-thin steel, it weighs just 18g and is finished with an adjustable nose bridge, a sweatband insert and long rubberised temples that stay comfortable through a full day's shooting. Because the frame is sold without a lens, it is meant to be paired with Beretta's interchangeable Competition EVO Spare Lenses, available separately in four tints — Yellow, Purple, Magenta and Orange — each suited to different light conditions from flat overcast through to bright sun. Buying the frame on its own suits a shooter who already owns spare lenses from a previous set, wants a second frame in the other available colourway, or is building a set piece by piece rather than buying a complete pair in one go. Add whichever tint of Competition EVO Spare Lens suits the conditions to have a ready-to-shoot pair of shooting glasses.
