The Beretta Open Top Double 5.56 Mag Pouch carries two AR-15/M4-pattern 5.56x45mm rifle magazines side by side, with an open top rather than a flap so both magazines can be drawn and reloaded quickly under pressure. It's part of Beretta's Tactical/Training Gear range, built from over a decade of research and field testing carried out with military and law-enforcement users before the same materials and construction were adapted for the civilian range and shooting-sports market. The pouch is made from durable, water-repellent material and measures 6in L x 0.5in W x 5.5in H, and a MOLLE strap system on the back lets it mount to any MOLLE-webbed vest, chest rig, belt or pack. The open-top format trades the extra security of a flap-and-closure design for faster access, which is the point on a pouch meant for range drills and competition use rather than long carries or rough handling. It's a straightforward double-magazine carrier for anyone running an AR-pattern rifle who wants two spares mounted and ready rather than loose in a bag, and it's available in a choice of colourways to match the rest of a Grip-Tac or Tactical Line set-up.
