The Bog DeathGrip UltraLite is a compact, magnesium-bodied shooting rest head that mounts straight onto any pod, tripod or shooting stick fitted with a 1/4-20 or 3/8in-16 stud, a Switcheroo adaptor, or an Arca-Swiss plate. Weighing less than a pound, it's the lightest head in Bog's DeathGrip range, built for hunters who want the security of the dual-jaw clamp without the extra bulk of the standard head. The patent-pending jaw design closes around the fore-end with non-marring rubber-lined inserts, holding the rifle steady while protecting the finish and stock. It suits sporter-profile rifles and quad-rail AR-platform rifles alike, and copes equally well with crossbows. Because it uses a standard stud fitting, the UltraLite drops onto Bog's own Fieldpod or Adrenaline shooting sticks, or any other pod, tripod or monopod carrying a compatible mount, making it a straightforward way to add a proper clamping rest to existing shooting sticks rather than buying a whole new pod system.
