The Caldwell Ultimate Target Stand is a freestanding, collapsible frame for paper and cardboard targets, built for public ranges and permission ground where there is nothing permanent to pin a target to. The oversized backer takes two 16-inch targets side by side, so zeroing a rifle or checking groups is straightforward, with no more shots sailing past a board that is too small. Frame arms of durable steel rod hold the backer securely, while the moulded plastic base uses integrated ribbing for stiffness and is made from an all-weather, moisture-resistant material. Set-up takes moments: the base is open, so you use your foot to drive the moulded-in metal spikes into the ground, and a removable ground stabiliser keeps everything upright in a stiff wind before stowing neatly onto the feet. There is even a built-in storage compartment for staples and target pasters. When you are done, the modular frame collapses to take up far less space in the truck or the cupboard, making it an easy companion for zeroing sessions ahead of the stalking season.
