The Caterpillar Powerplant GYW is an SB-rated safety boot (EN ISO 20345 SB HRO SRA), built on genuine Goodyear-welted construction that gives it a classic fit, real durability and the option to be resoled rather than replaced when the sole wears through. A 200 Joule steel toe cap and PVC midsole protect against impact and penetration, and the Goodyear-welted nitrile rubber outsole is heat resistant to 300°C as well as resistant to fuel and oil, so it stands up to genuinely demanding worksites. An energy-absorbent heel cuts fatigue over a long shift, while a removable PU footbed and padded PU collar add comfort and support around the ankle. Triple stitched seams keep the boot together under repeated flexing and heavy daily use. The black waxed full-grain leather upper is durable and built to withstand harsh working environments without losing its shape or finish, and the traditional lace-up design gives a secure, adjustable fit throughout the day.
