The Cluson Clubman Ecology Lamp 12V 8.8Ah Li-ion is the lighter, lithium-ion version of Cluson's well-known Clubman lamping lamp, built for foxing, rabbiting and night-time pest and predator control. Its xenon main bulb delivers 1 million candle power on a beam that reaches out to 1000 metres, with a low setting for closer work. Power comes from a 12V 8.8Ah lithium-ion battery pack, giving around 2.25 hours of runtime on high and 5 hours on low, and recharging in around 5 hours from the mains - considerably quicker than the sealed lead-acid alternative. At 1.4kg complete it's a noticeably lighter carry than the SLA pack, worth having on a long night out on foot. The lamp head is detachable and fitted with its own handle, clipping onto the battery pack for hands-free carrying or unclipping to be run at a distance on its lead. Supplied complete with lamp head, lamp head handle, rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, shoulder strap and mains charger, it's ready to go straight out of the box.
