The Cluson Dust Lamp Kit (DL5) is a UK-manufactured 1 million candle power inspection lamp built to detect airborne dust, particles and ventilation airflow for workplace safety inspections and environmental monitoring in industrial settings. It throws a xenon-bulb beam out to 1000 metres, making dust movement and airflow visible for assessment work that would otherwise rely on guesswork. This is the highest-capacity kit in the range, built around a 12V 16Ah Li-ion battery pack that gives the longest runtime on offer, around 4 hours on the high setting or up to 10 hours on low, while still weighing only around 1.6kg thanks to the Li-ion cell chemistry. A full recharge from the mains charger takes around 10 hours. The battery pack carries an LED indicator to show remaining charge and a 5V USB output for charging other devices on site. The lamp head is detachable and multi-directional, mounted on a handle that clips onto the battery pack for one-handed carrying, and the whole kit is housed in a durable, high-impact plastic case with a shoulder strap for extended use out in the field.
