The Cluson Dust Lamp Kit (DL1) is a UK-manufactured 1 million candle power inspection lamp built to reveal airborne dust, particles and ventilation airflow that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. Fitted with a xenon bulb and throwing a beam out to 1000 metres, it is designed for workplace safety assessments and environmental monitoring in industrial and commercial settings, wherever dust movement, ventilation patterns or airborne contaminants need to be seen and assessed. This entry-level 12V 7Ah version runs on a rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid battery pack, giving around 1.5 hours on the high setting or up to 4 hours on low, with a 10-12 hour recharge from the supplied mains or vehicle charger. The lamp head itself is detachable and multi-directional, mounted on a handle that clips onto the battery pack for one-handed carrying, and can also be run straight from a vehicle via the adapter lead. The whole kit is housed in a durable, high-impact plastic case with a shoulder strap, built for repeated use out on site rather than occasional inspection work.
