The Cluson Dust Lamp Kit (DL4) is a UK-manufactured 1 million candle power inspection lamp designed to reveal airborne dust, particles and ventilation patterns for workplace safety assessments and environmental monitoring in industrial and commercial settings. Fitted with a xenon bulb and a beam reaching out to 1000 metres, it lets you see dust movement and airflow that would otherwise be invisible. This version is built around a lightweight 12V 8.8Ah Li-ion battery pack rather than the heavier lead-acid pack on the entry kit, giving a noticeably lighter carry at around 1.4kg. Runtime is roughly 2.25 hours on the high setting or up to 5 hours on low, and the battery recharges fully in around 5 hours from the mains charger. An LED indicator on the pack shows remaining charge at a glance, and a 5V USB output lets you top up a phone or other device from the same battery. As with the rest of the range, the lamp head is detachable and multi-directional, clipping onto a handle on the battery pack for one-handed use, and the whole kit is housed in a durable, high-impact plastic case with a shoulder strap.
