The Cluson Smartlite Ecology Lamp 12V 16Ah Li-ion is the largest-capacity lamp in the Smartlite Ecology range, built for long spells of work after dark — ecological survey, wildlife monitoring or general estate and farm use. It delivers 1 million candle power from a xenon bulb with a beam distance of up to 1000m, and runs on a rechargeable 12V 16Ah lithium-ion battery with high and low settings — roughly 4 hours of runtime on high or 10 hours on low, around double the runtime of the 8.8Ah Li-ion version. Recharging takes about 10 hours from the supplied mains charger. Despite the larger battery, Li-ion construction keeps the weight down to 1.57kg complete — still lighter than the 7Ah SLA lamp's 2.46kg, and only a little more than the 8.8Ah version's 1.4kg. It's housed in the same durable, high-impact plastic case as the rest of the Smartlite Ecology range, with a strong carrying handle, and measures 26cm by 12.5cm.
