The Cluson Smartlite Ecology Lamp 12V 7Ah SLA is a UK-manufactured rechargeable spotlight built for long-range work after dark, from ecological survey and wildlife monitoring to general estate and farm use. It delivers 1 million candle power from a xenon bulb with a beam distance of up to 1000m, and runs on a rechargeable 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery with high and low settings — roughly 1.5 hours of runtime on high or 4 hours on low, with recharging taking 10-12 hours from the supplied mains charger. It's housed in a durable, high-impact plastic case with a strong carrying handle, measuring 26cm by 12.5cm and weighing 2.46kg complete. The SLA battery is the entry point in the Smartlite Ecology range: heavier than the Li-ion versions of the same lamp, but lower cost and just as capable for long spells of night work.
