The Cyclops Force XP is a hands-free LED headlamp built for anyone working or moving about after dark, from checking traps and feeders to walking dogs on a winter evening. At the centre of it is an ultra-bright Cree XT-E LED putting out up to 350 lumens on high, with a low white setting of 15 lumens for close-range tasks where you don't want to dazzle yourself or others. Red and green LEDs are also built in, useful for preserving night vision or reading a map without giving your position away, alongside a blinking white mode for signalling or being seen. A single push-button switch cycles through all five modes, and the compact housing carries an IPX6 water-resistant rating, so it shrugs off rain and damp conditions without fuss. Power comes from three AAA batteries, supplied in the box, giving a run time of anywhere between 3 and 64 hours depending on which mode you're using. Light, adjustable and simple to operate, it's a practical bit of kit to keep in the truck, game bag or kit bag for whenever the light starts to fade.
