The Element Optics Helix 8x56 IR is a fixed 8x magnification riflescope built around a 56mm objective lens, giving a bright, wide field of view that suits stalking and low-light shooting. Housed in a 30mm main tube of aircraft-grade aluminium, it carries fully multi-coated lenses, tool-free resettable turrets and a hard mechanical zero-stop, so return-to-zero is quick and repeatable after dialling. The Second Focal Plane Raptr MOA reticle is illuminated for fast aiming as light fades, and side parallax runs from 9.44m to infinity for a clean sight picture at typical field ranges. Element has fitted stainless steel turret internals, an upgrade on the hardware found in most sporting optics at this price, to stand up to regular dialling. The scope itself is waterproof, fogproof, shockproof and nitrogen-purged against moisture and knocks in the field. A removable magnification throw lever is included for quick handling, along with a sunshade, lens cloth and rubber lens caps.
