The FX STX .22 Barrel Kit (500 mm, 12 ft·lb) is a sub-legal-limit calibre-change assembly for the FX Crown, Dreamline and Impact platforms. It brings the modular FX system into .22 calibre at the 12 ft·lb power level that covers the vast majority of UK airgun use — pest control, vermin shooting and woodland hunting — without requiring a Firearms Certificate. The kit includes the STX barrel liner and housing, shroud and pellet probe. The Smooth Twist X liner accepts a broad range of .22 pellet profiles and weights, from lightweight wadcutters through to heavy domed hunting pellets. After fitting, the rifle's power settings need adjusting to bring output to the correct level; the external adjusters on Crown, Dreamline and Impact make this a desk-top task rather than a trip to a gunsmith.
