The Micro-Core Field Pad is Beretta's recoil pad for current field and game shotguns, supplied through GMK, Beretta's UK distributor. Instead of standard rubber, the pad uses Beretta's open-cell technopolymer, developed through the brand's competition shooting programme, which is softer, lighter and more slippery against clothing than conventional rubber. On recoil the material expands gradually and instantly, spreading the load over a wider area of the shoulder for firmer, more precise support and a noticeably softer felt kick after a long day in the field. It's finished in black, non-ventilated, and built for the current range of Beretta field models across all gauges, fitting directly to recent Beretta field and game guns or those already running the Kick-Off system without modification; fitting to other makes and models is possible but may need some adjustment to the stock. Sold by GMK in three thicknesses to suit stock length and comb height, it's a straightforward way to improve comfort and gun mount consistency without an aftermarket stock swap.
