The Glencoe is Hoggs of Fife's sturdy waterproof trek boot, built for a long day on the hill and named after one of Scotland's most demanding glens. A full grain waxy leather upper and fully waterproof, breathable membrane keep feet dry in the wet without them overheating on the climb, while the bellows tongue and padded collar stop grit and water working their way in around the ankle. Underfoot, an EVA midsole paired with a dual-density outsole gives cushioning and grip over rough, uneven ground, and a memory foam, removable insole adds all-day comfort and can be swapped out or replaced as needed. A brass-effect metal speed-lacing system makes for a quick, secure fit even in gloves. It's a genuinely tough boot rather than a fashion piece, equally at home on a stalking hill in the Highlands or on an everyday walk across the local fields.
