The Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller Collet #6 is sized for .284 calibre bullets and is designed to work exclusively with the Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller. When the puller is tightened, the collet grips the bullet shank securely, allowing it to be drawn cleanly from the case without marking or deforming the projectile. This lets the reloader recover the bullet, powder charge and brass intact — whether to correct a seating depth, adjust a load, or salvage components from a loaded batch. The .284 bullet diameter covers a broad family of cartridges popular with deer stalkers and long-range target shooters, including the 7mm-08 Remington, .280 Remington and 7mm Remington Magnum. The cam-lock design provides controlled, consistent clamping pressure, making it gentler on precision bullets than a hammer-style inertia puller. Collets are calibre-specific; this #6 collet is for .284 cal projectiles. Sold individually.
