The Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller Collet #7 is a calibre-specific replacement collet designed to work with the Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller tool. It grips bullets of .308 or .312 inch diameter — covering popular cartridges such as .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, .30-30 Winchester and 7.62x39mm, as well as .312-diameter rounds like .303 British — allowing the bullet to be withdrawn cleanly from a loaded round without damage to the case or projectile. The collet is fitted directly to the Cam-Lock Bullet Puller, which mounts in a standard reloading press ram. A quarter-turn of the collet body locks it securely around the bullet before the press stroke pulls the bullet free. This precise grip prevents case deformation and keeps both components reusable.
