The Hornady Deluxe 4-Blade Chamfer and Deburr Tool (item 050117) is a double-ended case preparation tool designed to ready cartridge cases for reloading. One end chamfers the inside diameter of the case mouth, while the other deburrs the outside diameter, removing the fine burr left after trimming. Cleaning up the case mouth in this way improves bullet seating consistency and reduces the risk of shaving lead or jacket material when pressing bullets home — a worthwhile step on new brass and an essential one on trimmed cases.
