The Hornady Custom Grade Full-Length 3-Die Set for 500 Nitro Express (.510) gives handloaders a complete reloading solution for this formidable straight-wall dangerous-game cartridge. The three-die arrangement is well matched to the rimmed, straight-walled 500 NE case geometry. The Full-Length Sizing Die carries a titanium nitride gold-ring finish that is harder than carbide and negates the need for case lubrication, resizing brass without scratching. The Zip Spindle with hardened steel Headed Decap Pin locks positively to prevent any slippage and permits both fine and rapid adjustments. The Pistol Style Expander Die opens the case mouth to achieve correct neck tension on the bullet and applies a controlled bell or flare to ease bullet and powder seating. The In-line Bullet Seating Die holds bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case mouth, delivering consistent seating depth and improved accuracy. A built-in roll-crimp facility in the seating die removes the need for a dedicated crimp die. All three dies ship with Sure-Loc lock rings. Standard 7/8"-14 thread for all presses accepting standard dies. Shell holder not included. Made in the USA with a no-risk lifetime warranty.
