The Hornady Lock-N-Load Iron Press is a single-stage reloading press built for handloaders who demand consistency and longevity. Its heavy-duty, fully ambidextrous cast iron frame makes it one of the most rigid presses in its class, with tight manufacturing tolerances that deliver match-accurate results round after round. At the heart of the system is Hornady's patented Lock-N-Load bushing system, which accepts standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies and allows instant die changeovers without resetting — simply twist the bushing to swap calibres. The spring-assisted 1-1/8" solid steel ram drives each stroke with authority, reducing operator fatigue during long reloading sessions. The patented shell holder platform is a standout feature: it lets you deprime a case, pause, remove it for chamfering and deburring, then reinsert and prime without losing your place in the cycle. An accessory mounting deck keeps chamfer tools, case neck brushes, primer pocket cleaners and bullet trays within easy reach. This version includes the manual priming system; the gravity-fed automatic priming system is available separately or as part of the Iron Press Kit.
