At the heart of the set is the full-length bushing-style sizing die, which accepts interchangeable, self-centring Hornady neck bushings — sold separately — so you can dial in exactly the right amount of neck tension without overworking the brass. A removable Elliptical Expander gives you the option to inside-neck size or bypass it entirely; its internal threading keeps it firmly in place under repeated cycling. The seating die uses Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System, aligning the bullet, case neck and seating stem in a floating sleeve before the bullet ever touches the neck — a design that pays dividends in consistent seating depth and shot-to-shot velocity. Micro Just micrometer adjustment on the seating die lets you move seating depth in fine increments, and a built-in roll crimper saves a station on the press.
