Mitre's Italia/Kiwi is a black leather rugby boot from Mitre's long-running Italia range, built around a traditional lace-up leather upper and a screw-in (changeable) stud system. Screw-in studs let the same boot be set up for different ground conditions — swap in longer studs for wet, cut-up pitches or shorter ones for firmer surfaces — rather than needing a separate boot for each. The upper carries Mitre's printed logo, confirming it as genuine manufacturer stock rather than an unbranded copy. It's a traditional, hard-wearing boot rather than a lightweight modern build, suited to players and clubs who want a durable leather boot for regular training and match use across both rugby and football. The Italia range included two closely related leather, screw-in-stud models — the Kiwi and the Terra — both sold in black.
