The SAKO LFA Powerhead Blade in .308 Winchester is a lead-free centrefire hunting cartridge built around SAKO's monolithic ductile copper bullet. The TEC (Tipped Expanding Copper) tip initiates expansion on impact by being driven into the bullet's internal reaction chamber, triggering a controlled five-stage terminal sequence that mushrooms the projectile reliably even at extended ranges or lower impact velocities. The monolithic copper construction — free of lead throughout — delivers near-100% weight retention, resists deformation against bone hits, and significantly reduces the risk of fragmentation, keeping meat damage to a minimum. Loaded to a muzzle velocity of 840 m/s with 3,422 J of muzzle energy, this 150gr load is well suited to deer and boar at typical woodland and hill stalking distances. Supplied in a box of 20 rounds, it is a practical choice where lead-free ammunition is required or preferred.
