The Sasta Katmai is a technical anorak from the Finnish outdoor brand Sasta, built for year-round use out in the field and around the countryside in rough weather. It is cut from Sasta's Q33 fabric, a durable 65% recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton blend, waxed and finished with Nikwax Cotton Proof so it stays windproof and water- and dirt-repellent while remaining highly breathable. Rather than a full front zip, the Katmai keeps a unified front panel that shuts out draughts in cold wind and snow, with a long side zip instead for ventilation and for getting the anorak on and off easily. An adjustable hood with a visor moulds to the face and keeps rain and snow out of your eyes, while the waist, hem and cuffs all adjust so the fit can be tightened down or opened up over extra layers. Storage runs to a zippered chest pocket plus two roomy side pockets closed with press studs. It is a relaxed, unisex fit designed to sit comfortably over a midlayer, and is manufactured in Latvia.
