The SmartRest Gun Cradle is a quick-attach cradle designed to fit a SmartRest Tripod, turning it into a stable, mobile gun rest for stalking, vermin control or range work. Built from steel, it mounts to the frame via a quick-detach rail, so it can be fitted or removed in seconds without tools. In use, the cradle gives two points of contact along the firearm's stock, which makes for a noticeably steadier and more accurate rest than a single-point support, while still keeping the whole setup light enough to move quickly between shooting positions. It's built to work across the full range of SmartRest's steel-framed gun rests, not just the Tripod, and can also be fitted to the original Racken Rest as an upgrade cradle where a shooter wants the same two-point support on that model. A genuine SmartRest accessory, supplied by BushWear for anyone building or upgrading a SmartRest rig for more accurate, supported shooting in the field.
