Smith's PP1-Tactical 2-Stage Sharpener is a Pocket Pal built for carry rather than the bench — a small, tough tool that puts a real edge back on a blade in the field. The handle is G-10 over a 420 stainless steel frame, with a tungsten carbide glass-break tip built into the body and a pocket clip for quick access. Sharpening works in two stages: preset crossed carbide slots pull a dull edge back quickly at a fixed angle, then the shaped ceramic stones follow with a smooth, polished finish that works on both standard and serrated blades. A fold-out, tapered diamond-coated rod handles serrations and small gut hooks that the flat stages can't reach — useful for anyone dressing game or working a fillet knife in the field. At 4" long and 1.5" wide, weighing 3.5oz, it clips straight onto a pocket, and a lanyard hole lets it go on a keyring or pack strap instead. Compact, genuinely pocketable, and built to be carried every day rather than left in a drawer.
