This 30mm honeycomb killflash is made by CSW specifically to fit the Vortex Crossfire red dot sight — it is a compatible accessory, not a genuine Vortex product, and the Crossfire sight itself is not included. It clips straight over the Crossfire's objective lens with a firm push fit, no tools or threads involved. The honeycomb mesh breaks up light striking the lens face, cutting the reflective glint that can otherwise betray a shooter's position — a real consideration for anyone using a red dot while stalking or working from a hide rather than on a range. Left in place, it also shields the objective glass from scratches, rain and knocks between outings, and lifts off just as easily when it isn't needed. It has no effect on the Crossfire's dot brightness, reticle or zero. A straightforward, low-cost way to add a measure of concealment and lens protection to a Crossfire-equipped rifle without altering the sight underneath it.
