The Vortex Crossfire is a straightforward, no-frills red dot sight suited to AR-15s, shotguns and rimfire rifles alike, giving a simple point of aim without unnecessary complexity. Its 2 MOA dot is quick to find in close-quarters situations yet stays fine enough for precise shooting at extended range. Eleven brightness settings let you match the dot to the light, with the lowest two settings compatible with night-vision devices, and Vortex rates the battery life at up to 50,000 hours on setting six. Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA increments with up to 100 MOA of total travel in each direction, and the fully multi-coated lenses give clear, colour-accurate viewing in the field. Nitrogen purging and O-ring seals make the sight waterproof and fogproof, built to shrug off weather and regular field or range use.
