The Vortex VMX-3T is a 3x magnifier with its flip mount built in as one unit, designed to sit behind an AR-height red dot sight and extend its effective range. A simple push-button on the mount engages and disengages the flip action, locking the magnifier in place for a magnified view or swinging it clear for an unmagnified one, whichever the moment calls for. It works with any Vortex red dot but is not recommended for use with prism scopes, and allows for either lower 1/3 or absolute co-witness mounting heights. The body is hard-coat anodised machined aluminium for durability, the optics are fully multi-coated for a bright, clear sight picture, and the unit is internally nitrogen purged for reliable waterproof and fogproof performance.
