The Warne 14RM is a 30mm, medium-height Permanently Attached (PA) scope ring built specifically for the Ruger No.1, Blackhawk and Mini-14/30 dovetail pattern. Because the mounting dovetail is machined directly into the receiver, the 14RM fits straight on with no separate base required — its Ruger-specific scalloped recoil key locates into the dovetail for a secure, positive fit. Made from solid steel in Warne's vertically split Maxima design and finished in matte black, it's sized to take 30mm-tube scopes with an objective lens up to 52mm, a good match for the mid-size stalking and vermin-control scopes increasingly fitted in 30mm rather than 1 inch. Each ring mounts to the receiver and clamps around the scope tube using four Torx T-15 socket-cap screws, torqued to a maximum of 25 in-lb. Sold as a pair and permanently attached once fitted — Warne also offers this pattern as a Quick Detach (QD) ring for anyone who needs to remove the scope. This ring fits the Ruger No.1/Blackhawk/Mini-14 dovetail only; it will not fit a Ruger M77, Hawkeye or Super Redhawk, which use a separate tapered-receiver ring pattern.
