Woolpower's Boxer Protection LITE is a certified flame-resistant base layer from the Protection workwear range, designed to be worn directly against the skin all year round — as suitable for stalking and cold outdoor work as it is for professional environments where flame and static risk call for certified PPE. It's knitted in Woolpower Protection LITE fabric — 60% merino wool, 38% Viscose FR (a flame-retardant viscose fibre) and 2% antistatic fibre — in a 1:1 rib construction that's soft, stretchy and breathable, with seams that are flat-locked throughout to prevent chafing. The garment is certified to EN 1149-5:2018 for antistatic properties and EN ISO 14116:2015 Index 3 for limited flame spread. Wool is naturally flame-retardant and doesn't melt, which helps reduce the severity of burns; for full protection Woolpower recommends wearing a complete certified base layer with appropriately certified outerwear. At around 75g in size M, it's a genuinely lightweight next-to-skin layer, working with the body's own moisture management to stay comfortable whether the job is sedentary or active.
