Woolpower's Long Johns W's LITE are merino wool base layer bottoms cut specifically for women, rather than adapted from a men's block. Knitted in Woolpower's thinnest fabric, LITE — a rib-knit blend of 80% merino wool and 20% polyamide — they're designed to breathe and wick moisture efficiently, making them equally at home as a base layer in cold conditions or worn on their own in milder ones. The women's cut follows the natural shape of the leg, and the longitudinal seams are placed strategically rather than run down the inner leg, so the long johns move with you without rubbing or gaping. A soft, sewn-in elasticated waistband carries a knitted-in Woolpower logo and sits comfortably against the skin. Merino wool's natural antibacterial properties keep them fresher for longer between washes, and they're pre-shrunk and machine washable at 60°C. Every pair is knitted and sewn by hand in Woolpower's own factory in Östersund, Sweden, from mulesing-free merino wool. At around 190g in a size M, they give genuine warmth without adding bulk under trousers or waterproofs.
