The HME A-Hole Remover is a purpose-built field dressing tool that takes the fiddly, awkward first step of gralloching out of the equation. Rather than working with a knife blade close to the gut, you simply insert the tool, give it a twist and pull to cleanly disconnect the alimentary canal from the carcase, reducing the risk of nicking the intestines and tainting the meat. The large, wide-open grip handle is designed to be used with a firm hand even when wet or gloved, making the job quicker and safer to carry out in the field on deer, boar and other big game. Because there's no blade involved for this step, it also lowers the chance of an accidental cut to hand or carcase during what is often the messiest part of processing an animal.
