The Amblers Safety AS303C Wrekin is a unisex waterproof safety boot built entirely metal free, so it's a sound choice for anyone who needs metatarsal and toe protection without triggering a metal detector or carrying the cold-conduction downside of a steel cap. A water-resistant leather upper backed by an internal waterproof membrane keeps feet dry, while a 200 Joule fibreglass composite toe cap and a flexible composite anti-penetration midsole (minimum 1100N) give the same protection class as steel in a lighter, non-metallic package. A Poron XRD internal metatarsal guard adds crush protection across the top of the foot. The boot is certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3, with the full marking WR M HRO SRC covering water resistance, metatarsal protection, heat-resistant outsole and slip resistance. The oil-resistant, ladder-grip outsole is heat resistant to 300°C and pairs with an antistatic, energy-absorbing heel, while a twin padded PU collar, removable PU footbed and TPU heel support keep it comfortable over a long day.
