The Barnett Crank Cocking Device takes the hard work out of cocking your crossbow, replacing a heavy two-handed pull with a smooth turn of the crank handle. Designed to fit the Barnett Predator, Revolution and Revolution AVi crossbows, it reduces cocking tension to around 16-17lbs, so the string draws back with far less effort and far less strain on your back and shoulders. Because the mechanism pulls both sides of the string evenly every time, you get consistent string alignment shot after shot, which helps keep your bolts grouping where you want them. The handle fits the dovetail and can be set up for right or left hand use, and an anti-reverse gear holds the load safely as you wind, preventing the crank from slipping back under tension. It slides on and off the dovetail when you are done, keeping the crossbow trim to carry in the field. For anyone who struggles with a standard rope cocker, or simply wants a repeatable, fatigue-free draw, this is a sensible upgrade for the Predator and Revolution range.
