The Rovince Ergoline is a field shirt built around the brand's permanent Zeck-Protec anti-tick treatment, giving the wearer around 98% protection from ticks and a real line of defence against tick-borne illness such as Lyme disease. That makes it a sensible layer for deer stalkers, keepers and anyone spending long days in bracken, long grass or woodland where ticks are a genuine concern. The treatment is bonded into the fabric rather than sprayed on, so it stays effective for up to 100 washes without any need to re-treat the garment. Beyond the tick protection, it is a practical warm-weather shirt: tough, stain resistant and quick drying, with a lightweight 67% polyester and 33% cotton fabric that carries a UV50+ rating. Armpit ventilation helps keep you cool on warmer days, while a zipped chest pocket secures small essentials and two further chest pockets close with flap and button. Poor sizing

I’m normally either large or XL, I returned the XL as it was tight. The 2 XL is not much better but have worn it so no luck for me.

Didn’t listen to my instructions

First of all I’ve bought Rovince products before from bushwear so I ordered the shirt in XXXL which turned out to be too small even though all of my clothing is XXXL and usually quite large but I like loose clothing when hunting. I returned the shirt and put a note in stating why I’d returned it and to replace it with XXXXL but within a day or two I receive a refund to my account. I spoke with Norman that evening and he didn’t know why the refunded me as opposed to sending the larger size so I am looking elsewhere for the item!

Anti-tick Rovince shirt

Does what it says on the tin.
Handled tick-ridden carcass today and, for the first time in years, I’m tick-free (above the belt at least).

I have given it three because of one big drawback , which is that sweat marks show really prominently. Obviously I wash it regularly but I am conscious of the limit on the number of washes for which the protection will last. I now have several of the shirts, so that I can wash them as soon as they need it, knowing that any one shirt will not get washed too often and lose its protective properties. But the pockets are excellent. Whether it does the job of repelling ticks it is too early to say.
