Napier Ezip is an aerosol lubricant spray made to free up and protect sticking zips on shooting luggage, gun slips, holdalls, jackets and wellies. Mud and grit are the usual cause of a stiff zip, and Ezip is designed to work its way into the teeth to drive out abrasive particles before leaving behind a slick, non-oily film across the whole zip surface and puller mechanism. Spray it directly onto the zip, then work the slider up and down a few times to spread the coating evenly; even a single application is enough to free a new zip that runs stiffly out of the box. It is safe on metal and plastic zips alike, and will not damage rubber, PVC or the surrounding fabric, so it can be used with confidence across clothing, footwear and bags. Since a seized or split zip is one of the most common reasons for scrapping otherwise sound field kit, keeping a can of Ezip in the kit bag is a cheap way to add years of life to jackets, boots and luggage alike.
