Phillips Gun Barrel Cleaner is a 100ml aerosol nitro powder solvent and de-leading agent, made for shifting the fouling that builds up inside shotgun barrels. Fire enough cartridges and the bore picks up burnt powder residue, lead streaking and plastic wad deposits that a dry brush alone struggles to lift. A short burst of the solvent down the bore softens and loosens that fouling so it wipes out cleanly, leaving the barrels bright and ready for the next outing. It works through the patch-and-brush routine most shooters already follow: spray it in, give the bore a few passes with a phosphor bronze or brass brush, then run dry patches through until they come out clean. The aerosol is ozone-friendly and comes complete with a nozzle straw, which threads onto the valve to direct the spray exactly where it is needed rather than misting it about. A handy size to keep in the gun cabinet or cleaning kit for routine maintenance after a day's shooting, it suits driven, rough and clay shooters alike who want their barrels kept in good order.
