Sierra's MatchKing .30 calibre (7.62mm/.308") 200 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail is a component bullet for handloaders, supplied in a bulk box of 500 - this is not loaded ammunition. Built to Sierra's exacting diameter and weight tolerances with a thin jacket and a small, precision-formed meplat, it delivers the high ballistic coefficient (G1 0.715) that has made MatchKing the most-used bullet in competitive target shooting worldwide. The sleek, elongated ogive and pointing operation improve wind resistance and velocity retention, making this 200 grain load a strong choice for long-range work out to around 1000 yards. A bearing surface to ogive junction machined to the same 1.5 degree angle found in match rifle chamber throats helps keep the bullet aligned with the bore for consistent, repeatable accuracy. Non-coated, no cannelure, and best suited to a 1 in 9" or faster twist barrel. A sound option for stalkers and target shooters loading their own .308 ammunition who want consistency round after round from a trusted, proven bullet.
