The Tom's Targets 5 Inch Gong is a circular reactive steel target cut from 6mm Hardox® 450 plate, purpose-built for rimfire rifles and FAC-rated airguns. Hardox 450 is a high-hardness abrasion-resistant steel that shrugs off repeated impacts at rimfire velocities, giving a satisfying ring and swing on every hit without developing dangerous pitting or deformation over time. At 5 inches in diameter, the gong offers a practical aiming point for bench practice, plinking sessions, and accuracy drills at typical rimfire ranges. The clean circular profile keeps the target face clearly visible against any backdrop, and the through-hole at the top accepts standard chain or shackle hanging hardware so you can mount it from Tom's Targets' own pole stands or any suitable cross-bar. As with all Tom's Targets products, this gong is made in the UK from genuine Hardox plate. Stand is sold separately.
