The Beretta Anti-rust Soft Gun Sleeve is a two-piece storage cover for a shotgun's barrel and stock, made to sit in the gun cabinet between outings rather than travel to and from the field. The 100% cotton fabric is impregnated with Beretta's FAW08 anti-rust oil, which releases slowly from the fibres to guard blued and other exposed metal against moisture and corrosion while the gun is stored. The barrel holder cover measures 82cm long by 10cm high and the stockholder cover 61cm long by 18cm high, sized to slip over a shotgun's barrel and forend, and stock and action, separately. Finished in beige with the Beretta logo, the soft cotton also cushions the gun against light knocks and scuffs from neighbouring guns in a crowded cabinet. It is not a padded slip or case: it gives no impact protection for transport and shouldn't be relied on for carrying a gun to and from the shop or the field - pair it with a proper padded gun slip for that. As an everyday storage aid, it's a simple, low-cost way to keep rust at bay on a gun that isn't out every week.
